It's been five years since my last blog post and I started the thing seven years ago. Evidently, I have all new cells in my body since I started my blog.
Currently living in Toronto and loving many aspects of it. I think I will always love Vancouver, but I've a ways to go before I can afford to take my family back there.
News on the interim: I met an amazing woman in 2010, shortly after my five year relationship broke up. I was in no shape for a new relationship, but through the wonders of modern technology, our long distance love affair blossomed and in 2014 we got married and had a child together.
My life has exploded with new experiences. I am who I always wanted to be, and now it's just a matter of finding a place to be where I can generate an income to support my new dream.
In 2015, my apartment of fifteen years got renovated and I got renovicted. The trip across the country that followed was astounding, the work I'd done before all that got paid for in a lump and I got out of debt.
In the two years since then, my body has healed for massive injuries I suffered while doing labour in 2013 and then right before we hit the road I hit the road with my right hand and smashed my wrist rather badly.
So, now almost physically back to 100%, completely removed from all my past work connections. In a great city that's having an extended summer and my boy is about to turn 3.
